Our Reckon One unveiling events have come to an end. After touring 22 locations across Australia and New Zealand around 3000 people have seen our newest cloud accounting solution – the feedback and response has been amazing.

What we keep hearing, especially at the unveiling events, is that we can’t release it fast enough; we’re so proud to have received that response.

I want to thank the hundreds of accountants, bookkeepers, business consultants, business owners, and more, who took the time to hear how our company is progressing, what Reckon One will bring to the market and how the new solution complements our desktop and hosted products that remain as popular as ever. I know many travelled far distances including a woman from Orange who came to our event in Sydney, thank you

You heard that we’ve changed. Our company that’s well-known for developing desktop accounting software for over two decades is preparing to launch a cloud accounting solution unlike anything else in the market. Reckon is well-known for developing QuickBooks and Quicken products (now renamed Reckon Accounts) for the Australian market, now we’re striving to be also known as a cloud leader with Reckon One.

At the Reckon One unveiling events we demonstrated what sets the new solution apart – it will be available in modules and you only pay for the modules you choose – as we say, it can be designed by you.

This is different for accounting software and takes full advantage of the flexibility the cloud can bring to any size business – you don’t have to buy a program with all the features you MAY need, you just choose to turn on features you need and turn off features you don’t.

When first released the modules we’ll have available are Core, Invoicing, Projects , Time & Billing and BankData – five key modules to get a very small business operating efficiently online. Our SBR module, Reckon GovConnect, as well as inventory and payroll modules are also already in development.

Thanks to 1000-plus people who’ve signed up for Reckon One alerts. These are a great to stay up to date with when Reckon One will be made available and what to expect.

Right now our plan is to release Reckon One as a beta in the near future. The beta will be rolled-out gradually to anyone who’s expressed interest in trying Reckon One through the website – so sign up if you haven’t already!

More roadshow events being planned

We plan to get out to more locations in the year ahead and our next series of events are already being planned. Is there a location you’d like us to visit? Let us know and please keep sending your feedback.
